What’s New in Patch 25.13?
Patch 25.13 brought a lot of changes — from Arena’s return to some solid adjustments to top lane tanks and junglers. If you follow Trick2g for his coaching, solo queue strategy, or off-meta jungle picks, this patch is one to pay attention to.
Here are a few highlights that align with Trick’s approach to the game:
Rammus is Back on the Menu
Rammus received a durability boost this patch, with higher health scaling and stronger W resists at higher ranks. Trick has long talked about prioritizing tank pathing and teamfight presence over flashy damage — and this buff supports that philosophy.
Whether you’re running Phase Rush or Aftershock, expect a sturdier mid-game and more flexibility in skill max order.
Vi Takes a Small Hit
Vi’s shield is now weaker, down from 14% to 12% of max HP. While this won’t delete her from solo queue, it does make her a bit less reliable as a frontliner. If you’re someone who follows Trick’s jungle rankings, expect her to move slightly lower on the list for now — especially in pro-styled team comps.
Twisted Fate’s Global Pressure Slightly Nerfed
TF’s R cooldown is now longer in the early ranks, meaning fewer early roams. If you’ve watched Trick build around this champion — whether he’s on top or jungle — you’ll know how impactful mid pressure is. Expect Trick to cover this in future macro-focused guides, especially when explaining how to punish delayed global timers.
Arena Is Back (For a Full Year)
This is huge for side content. Trick has experimented with Arena in the past, and now it’s back for 12 months — offering a whole new environment for testing builds, understanding damage windows, and teaching dueling concepts.
Better Progression for Casual Grinders
With the new 21-day Battle Pass mission system, you’ll have more flexibility to make meaningful progress even if you don’t log in daily. It’s a nice shift that aligns with Trick’s teaching style — progress over perfection, consistency over burnout.
